Patanchala Kapya

Patanchala Kapya (Sanskrit: पतञ्चल काप्य , Bengali: পতঞ্চল কাপ্য) was a renowned Vedic Brahmin scholar who lived around 675 BC.

He belonged to the line of the Kapi and was a resident of the Madra country. Yajnavalkya took specialized training in Vedic theology from Patanchala. [1][2]
