Ashvalayana Kaushalya

Ashvalayana Kaushalya (Sanskrit: कौशल्य आश्वलायन , Bengali : কৌশল্য আশ্বলায়ন ) was a Brahmin who lived around 585 BC. 

He was a contemporary of Buddha, Kabandhi Katyayana and Gunakhya Sankhyayana. [1]

Kaushalya Ashvalayana was a shishya of philosopher Pippalada. Along with 5 other seekers of Brahman, he approached Pippalada, the author of Prashna Upanishad of Atharva Veda, for instructions on Brahman. [2][3][4]
