Sahil (Sanskrit: साहिल , Bengali: সাহিল ) was a Brahmin (Brahmana) who lived around 920 CE in  Tarkari in Sravsati region of North Bengal (West Bengal and Islamic Bangladesh). 

He belonged to a Brahmin family renowned for its scholarship1. His father was Pashupati.

The Silimpur Stone Slab inscription of 1087 CE talks about this family. His son was Manoratha.
