Bhattaputra Konda (Sanskrit: भट्टपुत्र कोण्ड , Bengali: ভট্টপুত্র কোণ্ড ) was a Brahmin (Brahmana) who lived around 906 CE in Muzaffarpur in North Bihar.
In 941 CE, Bhattaputra Konda's son Bhattaputra Govinda migrated1 from Muzaffarpur in North Bihar to a village in the Balangir area of Odisha. This is recorded in the 941 AD Kalibhana Copper Plate of Janamajeya Mahabhavagupta I (935 - 970), who belonged to the Somavamsa family which ruled over the area around Sambalpur region of Orissa.
