Mahadevayya (Sanskrit: महादेवय्य , Bengali : মহাদেবয্য় ) was a Brahmin (Brahmana) who lived around 895 CE in Mysore, Karnataka.
In 805 CE, Mahadevayya's son Nagamarya migrated1 from Mysore to a village in Kheda District of Gujarat. This is recorded in the Cambay Plates of Govinda IV in 930 AD of Govinda IV2, a Rashtrakuta3 ruler who ruled from 930 AD to 935 AD.
