Agastya (Sanskrit: अगस्त्य , Bengali : অগস্ত্য) was a Brahmin who lived in 690 CE in Cambodia (Kambuja). He was well-versed in Vedas and Vedangas.

Agastya migrated from India to Cambodia and married Yashomati (or Yasomati) daughter of Narendravarman, king of Kambuja. [1]

This is mentioned in the Prah Bat Stele inscription. [2]
